Eligibility for Rhodes scholarship

For the scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Every student applying for the Rhodes scholarship must meet the residency and citizenship requirements of the Rhodes Constituency.
  • The age limit of the student must be 18 to 24 by 1st October in the year of application.
  • The student should have completed their bachelor’s degree with excellent academic grades, a first-class honors degree or equivalent. It increases the chances of selection for the specific entry for full-time courses at the University of Oxford.
  • The student must have to meet the specific requirement in English language proficiency. Mainly, a higher level of proficiency is required.
