An e-visa for Turkey is an official document permitting entry as well as travel within Turkey. This can be obtained online after entering the required information and making the payment. Indian nationals are eligible for the Turkish e-visa, provided that they meet the criteria. An e-visa is only valid when the purpose of travel to Turkey is tourism or commerce. For work in Turkey or study abroad in Turkey, the relevant visa will have to be applied for at a Turkish Embassy or Consulate. |
An e-visa for Turkey can be applied for any time before traveling to Turkey. However, an e-visa application must be made online at least 48 hours before departure to Turkey.
