There are three streams for this visa which include:

Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa

Another name for the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa is Subclass 494. This is a provisional visa and candidates can live and work in Australia for up to five years. The validity period of the visa starts from the day when candidates receive it. Candidates must be employed for the job listed in the occupation. Candidates have to work in a position available within the sponsoring business. This visa is a pathway to apply for permanent residence in Australia.

Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA)

Under the Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA), employers can employ skilled and semi-skilled workers. The employment will be done for those positions for which employers are not getting skilled workers in Australia. The agreement has been made to deal with the increasing labor shortage. Requirements for Australia work visa

Australia has many work visas and each of them has separate requirements. Some of the requirements are based on the points system. Employers will need a visa depending on the type of work for which they have been invited and the duration for which they want to stay in the country.

If employees have applied for an ENS visa, they have to show the skills needed for a particular job through skills assessment. Other requirements to get a work visa are as follows:

English proficiency: Candidates have to prove their English language proficiency through the IELTS exam. The exam is based on the band system and candidates have to score at least 6 to be eligible to apply for a visa.
