Visas in the Schengen C category are not extendable. As a result, under normal circumstances, the business visa cannot be extended. You may be granted a permit under exceptional circumstances, such as Force Majeure or humanitarian reasons. You must leave the nation in any other circumstances.

Can I travel to other Schengen countries on this business visa?

Since the Netherlands is a member of the Schengen Agreement, you can use your Dutch business permit to travel and conduct business in any of the other Schengen nations. However, just a few countries, such as Croatia, allow you to enter without a Schengen visa.
