Travel insurance will be needed. As per Regulation (EU) 2019/1155 of the European Parliament, “adequate and valid travel medical insurance” is compulsory for Schengen visas.

STEP 1, filling in the online application form.

STEP 2, getting together the documentation.

STEP 3, appearing for the appointment.

STEP 4, giving biometrics.

STEP 5, submitting complete application [printout of application filled online] with documents.

Do I have to give biometrics again if I travel again later?

Biometric data collected remains valid for 5 year. If you have to apply for another visa within these 5 years, there is no requirement for providing biometrics again.

Can I extend my business visa?

Visas in the Schengen C category are not extendable. As a result, under normal circumstances, the business visa cannot be extended. You may be granted a permit under exceptional circumstances, such as Force Majeure or humanitarian reasons. You must leave the nation in any other circumstances.

Can I travel to other Schengen countries on this business visa?

Since the Netherlands is a member of the Schengen Agreement, you can use your Dutch business permit to travel and conduct business in any of the other Schengen nations. However, you can only go to European nations that are Schengen members. The other countries would need to obtain their own permissions. However, just a few countries, such as Croatia, allow you to enter without a Schengen visa.
