Preferred European destinations to travel

The summer vacation is the right time for most travelers to break their daily routine to explore something new. Tourists prefer most European destinations are Paris, Rome, London, and Madrid, but for the last few days, Hungary has been considered one of the best tourist places to visit.

Due to global inflation, most travelers prefer the cheapest holiday destinations. Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is also highly preferred for traveling; also, Győr, Szeged, and Tihany cities are on the list.

The Holiday Money Post Office, based in the United Kingdom, released rankings of holiday destinations from the lowest price to the highest. This list has 36 different destinations ranking on various criteria.

According to the list published by Post Office UK, travelers consume the folowing eight things usually:

  • coffee
  • water
  • a bottle of beer
  • coke
  • wine
  • insect repellent
  • a three-course meal for two
  • sunscreen

Hungary is in 15th place on the global scale, and Hungary is in the top 9th place in the EU region. The travelers pay €83 for the services and the products. In contrast, the costliest item is the three-course meal, which costs €60.

Turkey and Bulgaria are also considered the cheapest holiday destinations, Portugal’s Algarve ranked third whereas Spain holds the sixth position.
