Highlights of the 2nd Express Entry draw of 2023

• IRCC held its second draw of Express Entry of 2023 with record-level lowest CRS score.
• Canada held its 2nd all-program Express Entry draw of 2023 on January 18, 2023.
• All-program Express Entry invited 5,500 candidates to apply for Canada PR.
• The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) recorded for the second draw in 2023 is 490.
• This is the second time the CRS score has been lowered after November 23, 2022.
• Candidates were invited through FSWP, CEC, and FSTP under Express Entry.

How to receive an invitation from Express Entry?

• The candidate must have a valid and active profile in the pool during the draw.
• Must possess a Canadian degree/diploma certificate and complete study or training between March 2020 & August 2022.
• Will be eligible for Canadian Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) points used to assess during the Express Entry draw.
• The highest-ranking candidates in the pool will get the Express Entry invitations.
