The University of Queensland [UQ] Programs

The University of Queensland, also known as UQ, or Queensland University, is a public research university located in Brisbane, in the Australian state of Queensland. The university houses six faculties to conduct both research and teaching activities.

Founded in 1909, its main campus is in Brisbane’s suburb of St. Lucia. The University of Queensland has 11 residential colleges. Of them, ten are located on its campus in St Lucia campus and one on its Gatton campus.

The University of Queensland (UQ) is part of Go8, a group of eight universities in Australia, and a member of Universitas 21.

It currently has more than 55,000 students. Of them, more than 35,000 are students of undergraduate courses while over 19,900 are postgraduate students. UQ, as per QS World University Rankings, 2022, ranks #47 globally. 

The university offers more than 550 programs at different levels including undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. to students.

Applications to MBA courses are accepted once in April end programs beginning in July and October ending for the programs that commence in February. The cost of these courses ranges from AUD20,000 to AUD45,000 per year. The University of Queensland offers various scholarships to students that allow them to take care of their expenses.

Students of this university can carry out research and experiments in its more than 100 research centers and more than 400 global research partners, including Boeing, Siemens, Pfizer, etc.
