Canada EE PNPs adopt varied criteria for selection

Canada EE PNPs – the Express Entry aligned Provincial Nominee Programs are adopting diverse selection criteria.  A Provincial Nomination offers 600 extra points under the Comprehensive Ranking System. This becomes the most priceless factor under Express Entry for aspiring overseas immigrants.

PNPs aligned with Express Entry employ different approaches for selection of candidates for Canada PR.  Below are three examples that saw them in action in Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia:

PNPs permit participating Canadian territories and provinces to select a specific number of candidates under economic immigration. This is for Canada PR and they do so every year, as quoted by the CIC News.

Around 17,000 Express Entry nominees who filed the application for Canada PR in 2017 had a Provincial Nomination. This was out of the total 109, 497 candidates. It was a hike of 4,000 plus over 2016.

The 3 PNP categories that have adopted diverse selection criteria are specifically renowned with the candidates in Express Entry. This is for the reason that they do not mandate a job offer in Canada to be eligible. Even a threshold CRS score is also not specified by them.

Canada EE PNPs and Express Entry are all set to play a highly active role in the immigration strategy of Canada. This is between 2019 and 2021.

The joint admissions for PNPs and Express Entry managed programs are estimated to account for fresh 142, 400 fresh Canada PR holders in 2019. It represents 43% of the target of 330,800 entire fresh admissions to Canada in the next year.
