The questions that are mostly asked during the job seeker visa interview are to determine the candidate's purpose in applying for the visa and why they chose that country. The visa interview is also a way to understand the interviewer's background, category, and educational qualification.
The general interview questions are based on the visiting reason, length of stay, work or study plans, financial support, previous work experience, etc.
Each country has different questions as they have different eligibility requirements that they need to fulfil. But here are the general types of questions that can be asked in a Job seeker visa interview to know about the applicant:
The applicant needs to describe the reason behind choosing that particular country and why they are applying for that country’s job seeker visa.
The applicant must describe the intended duration of travel. The duration of the visit must also depend on your purpose of travel.
The applicant must answer "NO," as they must return if their job seeker visa expires.
Applicants cannot have a study plan with a Job seeker visa, so the answer should be "NO."
An applicant must show sufficient proof of funds that support them during their stay in the country.
If the applicant has work experience, they must explain it (which company how many years) and must provide sufficient proof as well.
The applicant should meet the education qualification required for the job seeker visa they are applying for.
If the applicant has any link to the country, they must show it; otherwise, if they are new to the country, they must have accommodation in the country.
If yes, they must describe the reason for visiting and the duration of their stay in the country.
The applicant must describe the residential address of their hometown in the country.
The interviewer is interested in understanding the applicant’s plans. When posed with such questions, they must try to convince the interviewer that they will return to their country and don't have any extended intentions to stay in the country.
The applicant must know about the country's economy and job market to find employment and determine which is best for them.
Since the interview is supposed to be brief, an applicant must provide straightforward answers without spending much time. The applicant must be prepared with all the requirements that the interviewer might need to vary. Most importantly, the applicant should not be scared and must consistently answer the questions.
