IELTS is an important test of your English language skills. We discuss the different areas of the test and see how you can score best in each section. The IELTS training you take up will get a boost with the useful information we give you.

Right now, let’s look into the Speaking task of the test and discuss how you can score good grades in it. Now, let’s figure out the structure of the speaking task of the test.

The speaking test has 3 parts in IELTS, namely:

Part 1 is where you are asked personal questions on general and everyday topics. This could be about your home, your job or studies, your family, your friends, your likes/dislikes, and your habits.

Part 2 is where you get a topic card on which you have to talk for 1 to 2 minutes covering 4 bullet points. In this part, you get a preparation time of 1 minute.

Part 3 is where the examiner asks you questions related to Part 2. You will be expected to give answers that are long and elaborate that requires you to talk in-depth on the topic given.

Now, the question you are eager to ask an IELTS coaching provider: how to score the best in these sections of the speaking task. Well, here are some tips for the practice sessions at an IELTS coaching center!

  • Familiarize yourself with all that goes on in the Speaking test to feel ready when your turn comes.
  • Listen to the examiner’s questions during mock tests and figure how to answer them.
  • Spot the mistakes you can potentially commit and practice to avoid them in later learning sessions.
  • Evaluate the examiner’s feedback and learn how your trainer graded your performance and why.

When you learn IELTS online, your chances of self-evaluation and improvement could be more and the learning pace could be higher. Focus on your practice results and bring them to a level that serves you the best.
