 SAT Coaching Online

Preparing for the SAT entrance exam has to be a pretty planned activity. If you are just months away from writing the exam, you will definitely need to adopt an effective plan that covers all the necessary topics and practice without burning you out in the process.

In preparing for SAT, there’s a lot to be learned, from basics to maths to language skills. The major areas to focus on are math and reading. With enough preparation perfecting your high-school math and learning how to put your ideas best into a passage of 700 words, you will be well-set to take the test by its horns.

Here, with a wealth of experience in SAT coaching, we are trying to give you an idea of how to organize your studies for the test in the days you have at hand. Here are some key tips:

  • Breaking up your study program into weekly sessions is a good way to go through the learning process. Each day, organize your study into chunks of 45-90-minute sessions. While you could spend 4 to 5 hours of study per week in the beginning, the time spent should be increased to 8 hours when the exam is close.
  • Give yourself a habit of switching between math and verbal tasks. You can do this by mixing both subjects while studying rather than practicing them separately. This will bring your practice more realistic in relation to the actual exam.
  • Mix up practice and review of what you learn. This need not be entirely one after another. After a small portion of practice, you could do a review. Also, choose your study sections and topics randomly.
  • Sharpen your basics simultaneously with testing out more advanced exercises in maths. In fact, there will be a lot of questions that will test your math basics thoroughly. So, distribute your time and effort on every level of math.

Use these tips and watch a positive progression in your preparation for the test.
