The Government of the US led by Donald Trump has revised the legal framework for H-1B visas applicants making them more stringent. It was aimed at curbing the so-called fraud in H-1B visas applications.
However, it has now been reported that these H-1B visas restrictions could benefit some of the nations. HackerRank the digital recruiting platform has published a list of nations that might actually benefit from the restrictions imposed on H-1B visas:
Top 1 position: Singapore
The survey gives first place to Singapore and has reported that the nation has 70.3% chances of incurring benefits. It has emerged on the top position owing to its internet speed and tax regime beneficial to businesses. Singapore is the latest fast emerging technology hub in Asia.
Top 2nd position: Poland
Poland has received the second position with 67.4% in the survey of HackerRank. It has high chances of advantages owing to its developers that are ranked number 3 globally. Poland is renowned for affordability of setting up a developer team.
Top 3rd position: Taiwan
Taiwan has been ranked at the third position and it secured 66.3%. It ranks amongst the top five nations owing to its strength in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The high internet speed is an added advantage for the nation, as quoted by the Gadgetsnow.
Top 4th position: Finland
The fourth place has been secured by Finland as it secured 65.7%. It also ranks on the top of the ranking for Corruption Index. This means that it is the least corrupt of all the 28 nations that have found a place in the list of HackerRank.
Top 5th position: New Zealand
With 65.5% New Zealand has secured the fifth position. It has also scored high on English language proficiency and Corruption Index. On the other hand, scarce skills in STEM area could be a concern.
