About Canada

Canada is regarded as one of the top 25 countries in the world to plan for retirement due to its modern and reformed immigration programs. Due to its natural resources and high job opportunities, Canada is considered a destination for retirement for most foreign immigrants.

The country has eased most of the immigration pathways to invite newcomers to Canada to handle the acute shortages in various sectors of the Canadian workforce market and boost its economy.

Due to the non-availability of Canadian citizens who are qualified and young Canadians, the country has been recruiting foreign immigrants. Yet the unemployment rate in Canada has been dropping continuously, and it was 5.01% in November.

Canada has been increasing the allocations for some of the provinces with more than a hundred economic immigration pathways for foreign immigrants. To invite most foreigners to the country, it has planned immigration levels for 2023-2025. The table below shows the immigration plans for the next three years.
