Canada is looking for skilled immigrants who are willing to work, live, and settle in the Maple Leaf country. According to the Immigration Levels Plan of 2024-2026, Canada is inviting 1.5 million PRs by 2026. The Canadian Job market needs skilled labor to fill job vacancies across various sectors. With the right skills or work experience, you can migrate to Canada even without a degree.

 

 The educational requirements for different skill levels are listed below:

Pathways for Canada immigration

Canada offers various immigration programs to invite skilled immigrants to the country. Certain immigration pathways let you plan for Canadian immigration without a degree. Some of them are listed below:

 

The Express Entry System

The Express Entry program is the fastest and the most accessible immigration program offered by Canada. It is a points-based system that allots scores to candidates based on their skills and abilities. The three immigration programs under the Express Entry System are listed below:

 

 

The factors which determine your CRS scores in the Express Entry System are:

  • Age
  • Level of Education
  • Work Experience
  • Canadian Work Experience
  • Language Ability
  • Adaptability
  • Arranged Employment

 

Note: A higher level of education will increase your chances of migrating to Canada.  However, you can still migrate to Canada via the Express Entry system without having a degree.

 

Provincial Nominee Program 

The Provincial Nominee Program invites skilled and experienced immigrants to Canadian provinces and territories. Several Canadian provinces have their own PNP programs with varying set of requirements. Following are the PNPs that allow immigration even without a degree:
