Let’s learn more about how to migrate to Canada from India.

Migrate to Canada

Express Entry

The Express Entry Program is one of the many immigration programs that use an evaluation mode based on points. The points are allotted based on:

  • Age
  • Educational Qualification
  • Work experience
  • Employment status
  • Language proficiency
  • Nomination by province or territory
  • Adaptability & proof of funds

More points in the system indicate your increased chances of getting an ITA (Invitation to Apply) that promotes your status for a PR in Canada. It takes about a year or less for the submitted PR applications to complete the processing stage.

There is also a Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) stream specifically for candidates with at least a year of professional work experience.

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

  • PNP stands for Provincial Nominee program that permits candidates to migrate to any territory or province in Canada. The process of immigration and the criteria will differ with each area and region based on economic necessities. PNP is a perfect alternative for candidates with a less CRS score and who fail to receive an ITA. PNP is one of the largest immigration sources to accommodate candidates and works best for the following provinces:

The candidates must be in a position to contribute to the economy province of Quebec. The evaluation for the QSW is similar to the Express Entry mode of valuation.

Family Sponsorship

The Family sponsorship program is eligible for candidates who have a relative or kin living as residents of Canada. The Canadian members of the family can sponsor the candidate.

The number of students interested in studying in Canada is relatively high due to the quality of education and lifestyle standards.
