Highlights of new NOC codes for FSTP and FSWP

  • Applicants have to use new NOC codes while applying for Express Entry linked FSTP and FSWP from November 16, 2022
  • FSW has 347 eligible occupations and applicants have to submit an EOI profile to the Express Entry pool
  • The cap for applications through FST will be 3,000
  • Candidates who receive the highest CRS scores are eligible to receive ITAs
  • After receiving ITAs, candidates have 60 days to submit a full application for a Canada PR visa

New NOC TEER codes for FSWP

Candidates applying through the Express Entry system under the following programs have to use new occupational codes starting from November 16:

There are 347 eligible occupations under the FSWP and applicants who meet the eligibility criteria have to submit Expressions of Interest profile to the Express Entry pool. Rankings will be provided to all the profiles through the Comprehensive Ranking System scores and candidates having the highest score will receive ITAs. After receiving ITAs, a complete application for a Canada PR visa has to be submitted.

New NOC codes for FSTP

The number of applications to be accepted under the FSTP is 3,000. Two categories have been made for the eligible trades. One category has the sub-cap of 100 and the other one does not have any sub-cap.
