Australia Skill assessments are issued by relevant skill-assessing authorities. A skill-assessing authority is part of an Australian Organization that checks whether a person's skills meet all relevant skill standards that they set for different organizations.
The skill assessment list will select an occupation listed in Australia’s Occupational Demand List. The list will mention occupations that will face a skill shortage in the country. Each occupation in the list has its own skill-assessing authority. The ACS (Australian Computer Society) assesses occupations under IT and Computers. Trade occupations are assessed by the TRA (Trade Recognition Australia) or the VETASSESS (Vocational Educational and Training Assessment Services).
A candidate should have a positive skill assessment for the next steps in the Australian work visa process. To complete their skill assessment, the applicant must meet the eligibility criteria.

Under these streams, there are two pathways. However, the state or Australian government must nominate internment to make these available. Here are the visas:
Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (TSS)
With this Temporary Skill Shortage visa, an individual can stay up to 2 or 4 years. Before applying for a Subclass 482 visa, an employee must know the standard Business sponsor and have applied for a nomination on DHA for sponsoring an applicant.
Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485)
For this Temporary Graduate visa subclass 485, the candidate must have a nominated occupation on the Medium to the long strategic list (MLTSSL). The skill would be assessed based on the individual's qualification in Australia when they had a student visa. The qualification must be from studying a Course registered in CRICOS.
