Prince Edward Island issued 2022 PNP draw schedule

Prince Edward Island, popularly known as the “Garden of the Gulf," is the first province to announce the PNP schedule 2022.

It has released the schedule ahead of this year. According to Prince Edward Island, Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has scheduled one draw per month. Hence we can expect 12 draws from the province in 2022 under Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Impact categories. The province follows the calendar accurately.

In 2021, the province invited 1,804 candidates to apply for provincial nomination under Labor Impact, Express Entry and Business Impact streams.

Streams considered under PEI-PNP draws in 2022

Express Entry Category 

The Express Entry Category in PEI-PNP is an enhanced program and is linked with the Express Entry system of the Federal Government. Candidates need to register their profile under this system.  

Express Entry handles the following three economic-class immigration programs:

• Federal Skilled Worker Program
• Federal Skilled Trades Program
• Canadian Experience Class

Labor Impact Category

This category is for immigrants having a valid job offer in the Prince Edward Island and support from their employer. The labor Impact category includes three streams:     

• Skilled Worker
• Critical Worker
• International Graduate

Applicants in this category have to submit an EOI (Expression of Interest) to be considered for provincial nomination.

Business Impact Category

In Business Impact Category, applicants have to meet the minimum score requirements, and the score is different for every draw.
