Canada Express Entry eligibility

To be eligible, you must score at least 67 out of 100 points. The eligibility points calculator is based on the following criteria:

  • Age: Candidates between the ages of 18 to 35 will receive the highest score.
  • Education: The candidate's educational qualifications must match Canada's secondary education level to gain points.
  • Work experience: Candidates with a minimum of one year of work experience will be awarded additional points.
  • Language proficiency: Those who demonstrate their proficiency in the English language will be granted extra points.
  • Job offer: Candidates who have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada will receive an additional 10 points.

Canada Express Entry requirements

  • Within the last ten years, you must have at least one year of experience in a skilled occupation.
  • IELTS score of 6 in English or French, which is equivalent to a CLB score of 7.
  • Education Credential Assessment (ECA).
