The E-Visa on Arrival launched by Phuket Airport

The E-Visa on Arrival has been launched by Phuket International Airport. This was announced by Col Supachok the Immigration Chief of Phuket Airport. The new service has been launched with effect from 21 November 2018. It has a dedicated special lane for arrivals using the service said Col Supachok.

Col Supachok the Immigration Chief of Phuket Airport said that the service is available 24 hours. It will save time for overseas travelers. E-Visa on Arrival takes around just 1 minute, he added. It uses lesser documents and makes it convenient by online payment of visa fees, informed the Chief.

I think it will make a fine impression on the overseas travelers said Col Supachok.

Surachate HaKparn the Immigration Chief Gen said that the same service is available in Bangkok. This is at the Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi international airports, he added.

Visitors have to apply online to use the service. This can be dome maximum 30 days prior to the arrival. They pass through special lanes in place of waiting in the queues for 1 hour or more, as quoted by the Phuket News.

Gen Surachate added that the forms are filled and the fees for the visa are paid in advance. The service has been offered to citizens of 21 nations he informed. The same service will be offered at Chiang Mai International Airport from 26 November, said Gen Surachate. It will also be offered in the near future at the Krabi International Airport, he added.
