Job roles in Canada requiring certain professional skills, education, or work experience to be considered eligible for that role are categorized as skilled jobs in Canada. The country uses a system known as the National Occupational Classification (NOC) to segregate skilled and unskilled job roles in Canada. In 2022, Canada implemented the Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) to classify job roles in Canada. The NOC categorizes skilled and unskilled jobs based on skills, education, or experience required to be eligible for that job role.
