Spain eases travel restrictions for Indians, Visa applications open

Missing the scenic places in Spain? Yes, Spain is welcoming travelers from India. It has eased all its travel restrictions and reopened its consular offices for all visa categories after being temporarily closed due to the pandemic effect.

What are the requirements for Indian travelers?

But the travelers from India need to meet the following requirements in order to travel to Spain:

• Indian travelers must be fully vaccinated.
• The Covidshield vaccine is approved by the Spain immigration, whereas the Covaxin is not approved.
• Children under 12 years are not restricted from submitting any of these documents or other supporting documents to travel.
• Indian travelers should have a Schengen visa or need to apply for a Spanish visa via an online visa application center, BLS.

In India, Delhi is currently processing visa applications.

“If you need to change the validity of the visa, you only need to submit the passport and new flight reservation (not confirmed tickets) if the visa period has not started. However, if you need to make this change after your visa is in effect, you need to reapply with all documents,” according to Conde Nast Agency. Such a process can also be completed without visa fees.

By any chance, if the flight gets canceled or unable to travel due to some reason, then they can change their travel dates. In such cases, the travelers will get a new sticker on their visa by the Consulate or Embassy for free of charge. But to process, all these travelers need to make a new application.

Along with Spain, many European countries started to reopen their borders and visa process for the South Asian country.

Previously, France publicized that it opened its visa application centers in India, so most people showed interest in visiting France this summer, and now they are allowed to apply for a C-type visa.

Authorities in Iceland are also allowing Indians who are wishing to enter their country. So, Iceland opened its visa application centers in Bengaluru, Kochi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and New Delhi.

Travelers from India can even book their accommodation or stay visa applications to visit Sweden and France because those services in India are also open.
