Saskatchewan held the latest draw on 8th October for Express Entry and Occupations In-demand candidates. 559 candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR.
Every since it expanded its occupation list on 18th September, Saskatchewan has been holding back to back draw every week. The 8th October draw was the third draw and the province has issued 1,938 invitations over these 3 draws.
Among other eligibility requirements, applicants need to have at least one year of work experience in an eligible occupation. This holds for both the Express Entry and Occupations In-demand sub-streams.
You do not need a job offer from Saskatchewan or Canadian work experience to qualify.
The 8th October draw invited candidates having work experience in the following NOC codes:
Saskatchewan held the previous draws on 25th September and 2nd October. 769 invitations were issued in the 25th September draw while the 2nd October draw issued 610 invites.
Of the 559 invitations issued on 8th October, 231 went to candidates in the Express Entry Pool. These candidates had also filed an online EOI with SINP. The lowest-ranked candidate invited in this draw had a score of 69 points.
382 invitations were issued under the Occupations In-Demand stream in the 8th October draw. The minimum cut-off in this stream was also 69 points, as per CIC News.
