The new online portal ARRIMA is now accepting Canada PR applications from applicants under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Its service commenced from 18 September 2018. Applicants can now express their interest to the Quebec Government. This is by creating a profile via ARRIMA.
The system of EOI – Expression of Interest was announced the Quebec Government in August. It requires all the aspiring immigrants to create a profile. They are required to offer information requested in the portal. This includes the area of training, education, and work experience, as quoted by the CIC News. Proficiency in French, as well as other languages and other details, are also required.
MIDI the Immigration Ministry of Quebec said that invitations will be offered for those who satisfy specific criteria. This will mainly focus on the needs of labor markets in diverse Quebec regions, it added.
Candidates who are selected will be invited to apply for CSQ- Quebec Selection Certificate. This is with the Quebec Government. Those who are successful can submit their Canada PR applications. This is with the IRCC.
There is no cap on the candidate numbers who can register their profile in the QSWP portal. It was present in the earlier model of the QWSP based on first-served for first arrived. The applicants must be at least 18 years of age to submit their profiles.
Nevertheless, there are eligibility criterions to be fulfilled for selection. They must obtain the passing scores for selection factors and employability. This is as per the point’s grid of the QSWP.
So far, only limited details have been offered by the MIDI. This is with regards to the selection and ranking of candidates in the QSWP bank.
