New Canada PR alert: SINP offers invites to applicants via EOI

Aspiring immigrants must take note of the new Canada PR alert under SINP - Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. The Saskatchewan province has offered first invitations via the new system EOI - Expression of Interest. This was under the immigration sub-category Occupations In-Demand.

SINP issued an update that 140 invitations were offered to candidates in the sub-category. It targets qualified skilled immigrant workers with work experience. This is in one of the in-demand occupations of Saskatchewan, as quoted by the CIC News.

The score of the lowest ranked candidate was 75 points. This is on the unique assessment grid of Saskatchewan based on points. SINP specified that all invited candidates had ECA - Educational Credential Assessments. These are mandatory for applying for a Saskatchewan provincial nomination.

Individuals who are interested to immigrate to Saskatchewan can do so via the sub-category Occupations In-Demand. They must first complete an EOI - Expression of Interest for this.

Applicants are also required to obtain at least 60 points out of 100. This is for factors such as age, skilled work experience, language ability, training, and education. It also includes connections to the labor market of Saskatchewan /adaptability.

Those who fulfill the score and other criteria of the sub-category then enter a pool of candidates. Here they are ranked as per the competition. Those who score the highest are offered an invitation to apply for the Saskatchewan Provincial Nomination. This is through regular draws held in the EOI pool.

Successful candidates whose application is accepted by Saskatchewan can apply for Canada PR. This is with the IRCC. The province transitioned to the system of EOI in July 2018. This was for its immigration sub-categories Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand.
