The increase in numbers of Indian students in Canada is a part of ongoing and larger trend. During the period 2008 to 2015, the population of overseas students in Canada enhanced by 92%. Toronto University officials have said that a 75% increase in enrollments of Indian students was witnessed in 2017 spring.
