In the latest round of invitations held under the Express Entry system, another 671 Canada immigration hopefuls have received invitations on March 8, 2021.
As the draw specifically targeted provincial nominees that had secured a nomination through Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program [PNP], the minimum ranking score required – as per the Comprehensive Ranking System [CRS] – was on the higher side, that is, CRS 739.
A PNP nomination automatically adds 600 ‘additional’ CRS points, thereby significantly improving the ranking of the candidate in the Express Entry pool. For example, if an Express Entry candidate has a CRS 87 based on their human capital factors [such as age, education, work experience etc.], a PNP nomination will take them to CRS 687 [87 human capital factors score + 600 PNP nomination = 687 in total].
