British Columbia PNP invites candidates without a job offer

The pacific province, British Columbia, is welcoming immigrants without any job offer for the individuals applying through the International Post-Graduate category under BC-PNP. 

 

If the candidate owns a graduate degree in Science from the list of eligible British Columbia university's or institutions, then you are eligible to get a permanent residence without a job offer in Canada.

 

Science graduates are also eligible to apply for a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) under the so-called category Skills Immigration – International Post-Graduate. The BC-PNP gives priority to immigration candidates who have completed their master’s or doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in any of the following programs:

• Agriculture
• Biological and Biomedical Sciences
• Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services
• Engineering
• Engineering Technology
• Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences
• Mathematics and Statistics
• Natural Resources Conservation and Research
• Physical Sciences

Eligibility Criteria for Skills Immigration – International Post-Graduate category

Below is the list of eligibility criteria for Skills Immigration – International Post-Graduate category; candidates need to submit:

• An application to BC PNP within three years of the date shown on your official transcript
• Demonstrate their intention and ability to live and work in British Columbia
• Submit a description of any steps taken to settle permanently in the province, like searching for a job or applying for a job or a place to live in, or in some community involvement
• It is not mandatory for the candidates to get eligible in the Federal Express Entry system

Express Entry BC – International Post-Graduate Stream for priority processing

Candidates who meet the above requirements of the Skills Immigration – International Post-Graduate category and an active Express Entry profile will boost the chances to get priority processing of both their applications in BC PNP and their permanent residence.

 

The province has an alignment with the federal government’s Express Entry immigration selection system called the Express Entry BC – International Post-Graduate. In this, the candidate should have a valid Express Entry profile number and an IRCC Express Entry job seeker validation code, which will add to the eligibility requirements.

 

Candidates having an Express Entry Profile has many advantages. Express Entry candidates who are eligible to receive a nomination under this stream will receive an extra 600 points toward their Express Entry ranking score. This definitely guarantees for receiving an ITA in the draw held by IRCC.

 

Like British Columbia, many of the provinces do not require a job offer in Canada, including programs like Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Nova Scotia.
