2. Entrepreneur Immigration – 38 invitations
Category | Score | Number of Invitations |
Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category | 121 | 29 |
Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot | 118 | 9 |
This is the first time in almost 2 months that the BC PNP has invited candidates through the Entrepreneur Immigration streams.
Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category welcomes established entrepreneurs that either wish to take over a business or start a new business in the province. Candidates are assessed on various factors, such as their education, business experience, net worth, business plan, as well as the amount that they plan on investing.
Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot, on the other hand, is a Pilot program encouraging immigrant entrepreneurs to build a new life in the smaller communities in the province. While the assessment criteria is the same as in the Base Category, the Regional Pilot has a lower threshold in terms of the minimum investment required and the net worth needed.
