The latest provincial draw has been held by the Canadian province of British Columbia on December 1, 2020. In the first draw of the month, BC has invited tech workers and entrepreneurs to apply for a provincial nomination through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program [BC PNP]. A total of 79 candidates were invited in the latest round of invitations by the BC PNP.

f these, while 68 immigration candidates were invited – through the Tech Pilot – from the categories of Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC, another 11 invitations went to candidates under the Entrepreneur Immigration category. BC is one of the 9 provinces and 2 territories in Canada that are a part of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program [PNP]. Those successful in securing a nomination through the PNP can then apply for the federal processing of their permanent residence in Canada. British Columbia has a high demand for immigrants. British Columbia is expected to have 861,000 job openings between 2019 and 2029.
