Australia gives great opportunities to nursing profession to explore their job sectors. Nursing is considered as Australia's blooming job sector. A nurse must be registered through APHRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) to apply for nursing jobs in Australia.

A recognized nurse must be certified through Australian or overseas qualifications that prove they are a registered nurse. A registered Nurse belongs to the PMSOL (Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List) and can access wide options of Australian immigration pathways.

Pathway option for registered nurses

Here are the ranges of visa options for registered nurses:

Visa category	How to apply for the visa
Skilled Independent Visas (189)	This Subclass 189 visa is for workers who want to settle in Australia permanently. It is for immigrants who want to work and reside in Australia permanently without any sponsor. The skilled worker should acquire 65 points to be selected.
Skilled nomination visa (190)	Subclass visa 190 is for skilled workers who want to migrate to Australia. The individual must be nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency or sponsored by an eligible agency. The skilled worker should have a minimum of 65 points.
Skilled regional visa (491)	Subclass 491 is a temporary residency permit for skilled workers who want to reside in Australia. This visa is similar to a skilled nominated visa, as the skilled worker needs to be sponsored by the Australian state or government. Skilled workers would be nominated if they acquired 65 points.
Temporary Skill Shortage-Medium Term Stream (482)	The Temporary skill shortage visa is a temporary permit that allows an approved business sponsor to hire overseas workers. The overseas worker should apply for a job on the approved occupation list.
Employer Nomination Scheme visa (186)	Employer-nominated skill visa is for skilled workers who want to work in Australia. Experienced workers can apply for permanent residency through employment opportunities.

Acquire a B.SC or M.SC in Nursing
Language proficiency test: score six in IELTS or 95 in TOEFL
Four to seven years of experience in graduation and post-graduation
