Australia immigration eligibility test

Immigrants who want to migrate to Australia based on their skill assessment, educational qualification, and work experience. Individuals can evaluate their chances of migrating to Australia by checking their eligibility.

 

An individual must score a minimum to qualify for the eligibility test. Individuals need to have minimum points to be eligible in the eligibility criteria.

 

For Australia, an individual must have a minimum point of 65 or above. To qualify through the point calculator and work in Australia, one must look for a job registered in SOL (Skilled Occupation List).

 

For SOL, there are three types of skilled occupation list:

Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL): Skilled immigrants on the MLTSSL list qualify as they can apply for a Skilled Independent Subclass 189 Visa. With Subclass 189 a worker can reside and work in Australia permanently.

 

Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL): The Short-term Skilled Occupation List benefits in demand occupations across Australia's states and territories. This visa is for skilled workers who can apply for a Skilled Nominated Subclass 190 Visa and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa Subclass 491.

 

Regional Occupation List (ROL): The ROL is for some visa categories such as:

 

  • Subclass 494
  • Subclass 491
  • Subclass 407
  • TSS (M)
