Notwithstanding stringent immigration policies of Trump, US E2 Investor Visa remains favorable for many Overseas Entrepreneurs. Trump has toughened the other job-based visas in the US such as H-1B and the L1 visas. The interest in US E2 investor visa continues to rise amongst Overseas Investors and employers.
It was reported by the Work Permit that New Zealand intends to lobby with the US for US E1 and E2 visa through Stuart Jolly the former Campaign Director of Trump.
Recently US E2 investor visa has been modernized for nationals of Canada. The Canada nationals get the advantage of priority scheduling of interview appointments for E1 and E2 visa.
In order to register for the US E2 investor visa, the investors must show that they are in the process of devoting funds in the US. They must also demonstrate that they have risked or reached an agreement to buy an existing business in the US.
The firm that intends to renew its US E2 investor visa for every couple of years must prove that it can offer job to both US local members of staff and US E2 Treaty investor visa holders.
Derek Cafferata the CEO of All State Franchise Finders, a Franchise portal said that established franchise eases fulfillment of US E2 treaty investor visa requirements. Paul Lindquist a franchise expert in Canada also agreed by saying that franchises are a good option for Canada nationals applying for US E2 treaty investor visa.
Paul Lindquist said that license brands are suitable for E2 investors as these are considered to be legitimate by the US government. The investor is also offered a comprehensive five-year business plan by the franchisor that is mandatory for filing application for an E2 visa, added Lindquist.
