60,000 new Nurses required by Canada!

60,000 new Nurses are required by Canada as the nation will face an acute shortage of Nurses in the years ahead. This has been warned by the Canadian Nurses Association. The scarcity of 60,000 Nurses will be faced by Canada by 2022. CNA has said that the nursing population of Canada must be enhanced through immigration.

 

Canada Immigration pathways for Overseas Nurses:

Overseas Nurses inclined to immigrate to Canada have a couple of options. All of these pathways mandate education in Nursing, as quoted by the CIC News. Along with this, hospital work experience will be a huge advantage. The reason is that all the programs are highly competitive.

 

Federal Skilled Worker - Express Entry:

Thus, it is ideal for overseas Nurses intending to immigrate to Canada with families.

 

Nova Scotia Nominee Program: 

NSNP - Nova Scotia Nominee Program is administered by the east coast Canadian province of Nova Scotia. It targets overseas Nurses interested to immigrate to Canada. The requirements include an active profile in Express Entry and minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
