2018 US Best Jobs have been announced and the No.1 position is taken by Software Developer Job, as revealed by the US World and News Report. The list of the global authority in consumer advice and rankings has again been dominated by jobs in the Healthcare sector.

The rankings offer a view of the US Best Jobs for 2018 across 15 categories. It includes sectors such as Technology and Business to best-paying jobs. This is aimed at assisting job seekers at every stage to realize their goals for careers. The most crucial aspects of jobs including, salary, work-life balance and growth potential are taken into consideration by the rankings.

For 2018, the number one position has been taken by the occupation of Software Developer. The second place is taken by Dentist, third by Physician Assistant, and fourth by Nurse Practitioner. For the first time since 2015, the rankings have not been topped by a job in the Healthcare sector. Nevertheless, positions in Healthcare continue to dominate the rankings for 2018. This was owing to the combination of low rates of unemployment and high salaries, as quoted by the US News.

Apart from the 47 jobs in the Top 100 Best jobs, the majority of the best-paid jobs are also in the healthcare sector. The list is topped by the anesthesiologist with an average salary of 269, 600 US Dollars. This was followed by Surgeon at the second position and Gynecologist at the third position.
