Highlights: USCIS to holds 2nd round  of the H-1B visa lottery!

  • US. announced conducting the second round of the H-1B visa lottery for the Fiscal year 2024.
  • The initial lottery was randomly selected from correctly submitted Electronic registrations for F.Y. 2024 cap.
  • The filing timeframe for the selected registrations was allotted from April 1, 2023, until June 30, 2023.
  • Candidates whose registrations have been selected will have their myUSCIS account updated.

  • The US H-1B visa is a non-immigrant work visa that permits foreign workers to seek employment in the U.S. for a given period.
  • USCIS received total registrations of 780,884, out of which 758,994 were considered eligible for the F.Y. 2024.
  • 110,791 registrations were selected to meet the 85,000 annual quota.
