British Columbia has held 6 tech-only immigration draws since May 2017. It has been reported by the media that the tech sector in British Columbia has accentuated the pace of its growth. This has also been influenced by the overseas talents deserting tech hubs such as the Silicon Valley of the US.
Donald Trump’s presidency of the US is taking a negative view of immigration notwithstanding the publicly acknowledged advantages supported by research. This has had an adverse impact on the US tech sector too, as quoted by the CIC News.
