SINP Draw

In the latest Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program [SINP] draw held on November 3, 2020, a total of 534 Canadian immigration candidates have received invitations to apply for a provincial nomination through Saskatchewan.

Earlier, Saskatchewan had released details of the SINP draws held in October 2020.

Saskatchewan is one of the 9 provinces and 2 territories that are a part of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program [PNP]. Nearly 80 immigration pathways are available under the PNP, many linked with the federal Express Entry system.

On securing a PNP nomination, an Express Entry candidate is allotted 600 additional points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System [CRS] scores, thereby guaranteeing that they are issued an invitation to apply in the next Express Entry draw.

In the latest PNP draw by Saskatchewan, invitations to apply have been issued to SINP’s International Skilled Worker category. Both the sub-categories of Occupations In-Demand as well as Express Entry received invitations.

To be considered for the draw, candidates from both the sub-categories were required to have submitted their Expression of Interest [EOI] profiles with the SINP.

A score, referred to as an EOI score, is subsequently allotted based on the five factors of education, age, language ability, work experience, and connections to Saskatchewan.

To apply for the International Skilled Worker category of the SINP, a minimum of 60 out of a total of 100 will have to be scored on the SINP point assessment grid.

The minimum score required was 68 in the latest SINP draw.
