Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan, on 28th November, conducted the latest Express Entry and Occupations In-demand draw. 460 skilled workers were invited to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR.

The SINP Express Entry sub-category is linked to the Federal Express Entry Program.

The 28th November draw invited 200 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. Candidates who get a provincial nomination will get 600 more points on their CRS which will guarantee them an ITA in the subsequent round.

Candidates who have not submitted their profile in the Express Entry Pool can apply under the Occupations In-demand sub-category. The 28th November draw invited 260 candidates under the Occupations In-demand sub-category.

You do not need a job offer from Saskatchewan to apply under either the Express Entry or the Occupations In-demand sub-categories. You must, however, have at least one year of work experience in an eligible skilled occupation which is related to your field of study.

Since 25th September, the SINP has conducted 15 draws issuing 5,689 invitations to both Express Entry and Occupations In-demand candidates. These draws were conducted after the SINP expanded its list of eligible occupations from 19 to over 200. All the 15 draws targeted candidates in a wide variety of occupations.

Candidates in over 97 occupations were invited in the 28th November draw.

To apply under either the Express Entry or the Occupations In-demand sub-categories, you must first submit an EOI to the SINP. Eligible EOIs are scored out of a total of 100 points.

The minimum required score in the 28th November draw for both the Express Entry and Occupations In-demand sub-category was 69 points. Invited candidates were also required to have an educational credential assessment of their degrees and diplomas which were obtained outside of Canada.
