Manitoba invited 230 candidates in the latest draw held on 21st November. This was the 77th draw conducted by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.

With this new invitation round, the number of invitations issued by the MPNP has reached 7,141 in 2019.
To apply under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas sub-categories, you need to first submit an EOI. You EOI is scored out of 1,000 points based on your education, work experience, language skills, connection to Manitoba etc.
If you feature among the highest-scoring candidates, you receive an invite to apply for a provincial nomination.
The cut-off score in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream in the 21st November draw was 504.
The minimum required score in the Skilled Workers Overseas stream in the 21st November draw was 739.
The 16 candidates who received invitations under the Skilled Workers Overseas sub-stream were invited under the Manitoba Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The 21st November draw also invited 20 candidates who had valid EOIs in the Express Entry Pool. EE candidates who have work experience in an in-demand occupation in Manitoba are considered by the MPNP. They also need to submit a separate EOI to the MPNP to be eligible.
The MPNP uses the Skilled Workers Overseas stream to invite candidates who can help support the labour market of Manitoba. However, candidates must be able to demonstrate a connection to Manitoba. This connection can be:
Candidates are not required to be in Manitoba at the time of applying.
To apply under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, you need to have a permanent, full-time job offer from an employer in Manitoba.
International students who graduate from Manitoba Universities and have an in-demand skill can apply under the International Education Stream.
