South Korea will offer Group Visas to travelers from India in 2019. This is its latest measure to attract overseas travelers. The Ministry of Finance and Economy made this announcement. It was in a crucial economic meeting presided over by Moon Jae-in the President of South Korea.
As of now, Group Visas are offered by South Korea to 5 nations. These include Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, China, and Vietnam.
Around 1, 23, 416 Indians arrived at South Korea in 2017 as per the official data. This accounts for 0.9% of all overseas visitors to the nation. South Korea plans to increase the numbers of overseas travelers to the nation in the coming years, as quoted by the EN YNA CO KR.
