Quebec launches online campaign to attract foreign teachers

The Quebec Ministry of Education and Higher Education has recently launched an online campaign aiming to attract foreign teachers. The new campaign will primarily target newcomers but also teachers from other provinces in Canada to address the shortage of teachers in Quebec.

Jean-Francois Roberge, Education Minister of Quebec, recently stated that one of the biggest challenges that the Quebec Education Ministry is facing is the shortage of teachers. To address this problem, the Ministry has rolled out a new campaign called the “1,216,791 good reasons to become a teacher”.

The official website of this campaign targets immigrants and students who are working in the field of teaching. It also offers a pathway for those who would like a change of career.

He also said that he feels confident that the new campaign will help them achieve their goals.
