Manitoba conducted the latest invitation round on 30th January inviting 181 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.
Here is the breakup of the invitations issued in the 30th January draw:
11 invitations were issued to candidates who had a valid Express Entry ID.
The major source of skilled foreign workers in Canada is the Express Entry Program. Eligible candidates in the Express Entry Pool are given a CRS score based on factors like age, education, work experience, language test scores etc. Candidates who score the highest are then invited in regular draws to apply for a Canadian PR.
For a candidate to be eligible for a provincial nomination through Manitoba, they must have work experience in any occupation that is in high demand in the province. There are other requirements too that they need to meet to qualify.
To be considered for a provincial nomination through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, you must submit a separate EOI to the MPNP. Eligible EOIs are given a score out of 1,000 points. Candidates with the highest-scoring EOIs are invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
The minimum required score in the 30th January draw for the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream was 548. For the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, it was 679.
Skilled foreign workers who can support the labour market needs of Manitoba are invited through the Skilled Workers Overseas stream.
39 candidates were invited under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative of Manitoba.
Candidates who are already working in a full-time job in Manitoba can apply under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.
If you have completed your higher studies from an educational institution in Manitoba, you may apply under the International Education stream.
