The largest Canada Express Entry draw of 2018 has offered 3,900 Invitations to Apply for Canada PR. The threshold Comprehensive Ranking System score for this draw held on 5 September was 440. It was the 4th all-program draw in 2018 with a threshold score of 440. This is also the lowest CRS score so far in the year, as quoted by the CIC News.
The tie-break time and date for the draw were 14.28.34 UTC and 29 April 2018. It implies that all candidates with a score exceeding 440 received the ITA in this draw. Along with them, those who submitted their profiles within the specified time and date and with 440 scores also received the invites.
The latest draw has broken the trends of offering 3, 750 ITAs established in 2018 by IRCC. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada began this trend on 13 June and continued it for 6 subsequent draws.
The steady pace of the larger draws after 13 June has helped in keeping the CRS score at 440. It could have also prevented the score from going higher. The latest draw is also the largest Canada Express Entry draw of 2018.
Express Entry candidates have diverse options to enhance their CRS scores. It includes a nomination from a province that results in 600 extra points. Provincial Nominee Programs linked with Express Entry have been highly innovative and active in 2018.
Y-Axis Immigration Expert Usha Rajesh has said that it the expansion of draws was anticipated for a while now. This is owing to the enhanced targets for intake of immigrants in 2018 as well as 2019, added Ms. Rajesh.
The IRCC has once again enhanced the numbers of ITAs said the Immigration Expert. We need to see if this trend continues all along fall this year, added Usha Rajesh.
