British Columbia offers fresh ITAs for Canada PR via PN

British Columbia has offered fresh ITAs for Canada PR via PN - Provincial Nomination under the Tech Pilot program of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The draw was held on 30 August 2018.

The latest draw offered invitations to qualified candidates who possessed minimum 1-year duration job offer. This was in any one of the 29 priority occupations of the Tech Pilot program. Invitations for Canada PR via PN were offered to 32 candidates, as quoted by the CIC News.

The candidates in the Express Entry pool who are nominated by BC get 600 extra points. This is towards their Comprehensive Ranking System scores. It implies that they can comfortably receive an invite to apply for Canada PR in the subsequent Express Entry Draw.

The candidates under Skills Immigration who are nominated by BC will have their PR applications processed by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. But this will be outside the online application processing system Express Entry.

All the requirements of the program must be satisfied at the time of registration to receive an ITA. This is by both the employer and their candidate. Faster processing of occupations related to tech is offered under the Tech Pilot program of PNP BC. Registration for the program requires the candidates to offer details of their employer in BC. The applications are processed within 2 to 3 months of the receipt.

Individuals inclined to immigrate to Canada through the PNP BC must first submit a complete online profile. This is through the SIRS - Skills Immigration Registration System of PNP BC.
