GTS has eased the process of obtaining Canada Work Visas for overseas workers. It has enabled the employers in Canada to hire overseas talents vital for their organizations and businesses.

Overseas nationals who possess required skills for the skilled jobs are offered priority for processing Canada Work Visas. This implies that they can quickly arrive at Canada and work faster, as quoted by the CIC News.

Global Talent Stream mandates that employers must demonstrate that they will generate enduring benefits for the labor market in Canada. Thus, only leading businesses are offered approval for hiring through this program.

Only select occupations are qualified for the processing of applications through the Global Talent Stream. Last week Canada added 3 more occupations to the list on the occasion of its first anniversary.

Upon obtaining adequate work experience in Canada, the overseas workers can become qualified for Canada PR. This can be through the Express Entry Canada Experience Class.

GTS is a part of the Canada TFWP - Temporary Foreign Worker Program.

Category A

An employer must have been referred by one of the designated partners of GTS. They must also utilize this category to hire specialized and unique talent from overseas.

Category B

Canadian employers must seek to hire highly skilled overseas talents to fill vacancies in occupations present in the GTS Occupations List.
