Abstract: On March 2, 2022, Canada issued 1,047 ITAs in the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

The Canadian Immigration Minister,in his words...

The Immigration Minister of Canada, Sean Fraser, says that the draws for skilled workers will be resumed soon. No definite date is scheduled for the resumption of draws for the skilled workers. He also added that the government wanted to integrate flexibility into the system of Express Entry. The Express Entry draw could be utilized to cater to urgent short-term needs like the needs of small communities and specific in-demand fields. It is expected that by 2024 the targets for skilled workers will return to normal. It had been halved in the Immigration Plan for 2022-24. The new targets are set to change in the 2023-25 fall plans of immigration levels. Canada has not been conducting draws for the FSWP or Federal Skilled Worker Program pool since December 2020. The last draw for the CEC or Canadian Experience Class  immigrants was held in September 2021. The minister also suggested that Express Entry draws which are occupation-specific can be added in the future. Do you need any assistance to apply for Canada Express Entry?
