Manitoba has offered 392 ITAs to apply for Provincial Nomination to skilled workers overseas and in the province. The MPNP – Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program conducted the invitation round on 28 September 2018.
191 LAAs – Letters of Advice to Apply for nomination from the province were offered to candidates in the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream of MPNP. The candidates who received the LAA had a minimum score of 679 on the assessment grid of MPNP. The grid offers scores to candidates out of 1,000. This is based on the answers provided by them in their profile in Expression of Interest, as quoted by the CIC News.
201 LAAs were also offered to candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream. These have a close relative in Manitoba and past work experience or education in the province. They also had at least 6 months of latest experience in the province in an Occupation In-demand. The lowest ranked candidate in this stream receiving LAA had a score of 592.
31 LAAs were offered to candidates via the Strategic Recruitment Initiatives of MPNP. The lowest ranked candidate through this process to receive LAA had a score of 713.
Candidates who are inclined to Canada PR through MPNP Skilled Worker Overseas Stream must first create a profile in EOI. Qualified candidates are then included in the EOI pool. Here they are ranked in order of competition.
MPNP candidates who are invited to apply for Provincial Nomination have 60 days to submit their complete application. This is to be done via their MPNP online account.
Candidates who are successful in their application for provincial nomination can submit their Canada PR application. This is with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
