Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited more candidates in all-program based Express Entry draw of August 2023.
On August 15, IRCC invited 4,300 candidates to apply for permanent residence (PR). This was the highest number of invitations issued in a single draw since 27th June 2023. The cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was set to 496 for the draw.

In the first week of August, Canada held three consecutive Express Entry draws.
On August 3, Canada invited 1,500 candidates in the category-based draw for candidates with trades occupations. The minimum requirement for a CRS score was set to 388.
On August 2, the IRCC held a category-based draw for French-speaking candidates. The draw invited 800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) with a cut-off CRS score of 435.
On August 1, the all-program Express Entry draw was held, inviting 2,000 candidates with a cut-off CRS score of 517. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 517 was the highest score for any all-program draw in 2023 so far.
