On September 21, 2021, British Columbia PNP invited another 74 tech candidates to apply for being nominated by the province for permanent residence in Canada.
British Columbia is among the 9 province and 2 territories in Canada that are a part of the Provincial Nominee Program [PNP].
As this was a BC PNP Tech draw, invitations to apply [ITAs] were issued by the province to tech candidates under any of the 29 key occupations.
Earlier known as BC PNP Tech Pilot, BC PNP Tech has been made permanent and accordingly renamed.

| What is the BC PNP Tech? |
| BC PNP Tech is not a separate stream or category. Under BC PNP Tech, invitations are issued to tech candidates – with a job offer in BC in any of the 29 key occupations – under the existing immigration pathways of SI and EEBC. To be eligible for BC PNP Tech, the job offer must be for a minimum of 1 year, with “at least 120 days remaining at the time of application to BC PNP”. |
